We are here until Sunday & then home for a week only to turn back around & be here again for another week with more family. I feel as if we have traveled all summer but after this next trip I only have one more vacation on the docket :) It is making time go by very quickly & not allowing me much time to worry about the pregnancy, which is good :) I go into the specialist next Monday for another sonogram and am hoping all will be fine . . . it has been 5 weeks since the last one & being that I know (from past experience) how quickly things can go wrong in a matter of weeks, well I worry - of course being busy & traveling has kept that to a minimum recently. I will keep you all posted :)

On to the scrappy :) I have been away so no scrapping has happened this week but I do have something to share. Pam, from My Creative Scrapbook sent me this fabulous kit to work with for July - just love the bright summer colors & the adorable embellishments!!

Here is my July sketch for MCS . . .

A quick close-up of the title work - do you see these cute flip-flops (these are in the kit!!!!)????

Now, don't get me wrong, I LOVE My Creative Scrapbook & I LOVE Magpie Club & I LOVE The Scrap Room - I have been with all 3 for quite a while now & Pam & Tara & Tammy are just fabulous!!! But that doesn't me I don't still shop the kit clubs out there - a girl can never have enough scrapbook supplies - right??? I mentioned the other day that I'd share some of these with everyone so here goes (BTW - I have no affiliation with any of these other than being just a member). I have been a long time subscriber of Studio Calico - I just love their kits but especially the products they produce themselves - I think most people know about them though :) Within the past year I also have purchased several kits from Noel Mignon - if you haven't checked them out - seriously do - they are JAM-PACKED!!! Opening one of her kits is like Christmas - so much paper & so many little embellies - LOVE them. They are expensive but are totally worth every penny - I promise!! The sneaks of her upcoming August kit (Office Party) look fabulous - can't wait!!! Now recently I found two more clubs - maybe you have heard of them, maybe not, but definitely check them out. First up - Polka Dot Whimsy. Really such a fab mix of goodies in these kits - tons of embellies & trims. I am lovin' the July main kit Cape Cod & the Liberty Shores add-on kit - just debating on whether or not to buy . . . I will admit it took a really long time to get the June kit (which was awesome by the way) but the owner shared she was ill so no problem :) It was totally worth the wait anyway & she included a HUGE goodie bag with the kit as an apology which was totally sweet :) The other club - Midnight Rooster. First off, I just love the name - not sure why - but I do :) The kits are beautiful & the handmade items go above & beyond your typical handmade goodies in a kit. Check out June's kit here - see the cute little banner pieces - totally handmade out of Fimo clay - love it!!! She always includes a large square of awesome fabric in the kit - how fab is that?? Anyways - just thought I'd share - from one scrapbook supply addict to another - enjoy :)

Psst . . . I'd head over HERE tomorrow morning - you may see a little bit more of what I have been working on these days :)

Have a fab late night Monday/ Tuesday!!

ttyl - julie :)

  1. Wow there was a lot of good stuff to see and I didn't even go to the older posts yet. I love the shirt your son has on for the 4th. These are really neat sketches and I want to try some of them. Love all the details and the journaling you do on them. Those flip flop embellishments are so cute, I've never seen them that color and I like it on a boys page. All your recent posts are great to read and I hope you have great news at your next sonogram and their will be a happy, healthy baby for you. I will come back to see more of your great projects.
